Rod Filbrandt, one of my favorite artists, has realistically captured the reality of reality TV. Sure, there are a few mildly entertaining reality shows on the tube. Take Wife Swap for example. An episode description grabbed from their website reads A primped-and-proper mother who runs a high-end salon for little girls swaps families with a hardworking mother who bottles and sells deer urine with her husband. Set the Tivo! Next episode: A jar of pickles is placed upon a crate of kazoos from China, you won't believe what happens next.
oh man, DRY SHAVE was the best comic strip. though probably not quite set there, got vancouver in all its 90s grunginess. yay for rod filbrandt!

Oh, those pickles are just go crazy! I can't decide which one is my favorite. And did you see what that horny Dill Pickle and Miss Q Cumber did when they had the jar to themselves?! It just wasn't kosher...

I LOVE the pickle show. Are you mocking the pickle show? How can you not be obsessed with the pickle show?!
My favorite bad reality show was "My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance"...a bit of a pickle show, now that I think on it.
