And with Sarah Palin's experience with Russia and all (what, with being able to see Russia from the farthest of the Aleutian Islands), she'll surely be able to defeat those nogoodniks, Boris and Natasha once and for all!

Beautiful!

Now if Obama dumps Biden, and Hillary joins the ticket will you do them as Boris and Natasha? (Must get Squirrel!)

BullPalin:
"Hey Rockhead, watch me pull a VP candidate out of my ass."

Rockhead:
"Again? That trick NEVER works!"

Well, you can put lipstick on a moose, but . . .

LOL! Very nice, 14. You did it again! Those two are fast becoming a parody of themselves.

Wonderfully insightful & drawn as always!!!
Though to me, McCain looks more like Casper The Friendly(?) Ghost in some of his photo ops. (With apologies to Casper, Spooky & The Unholy Trio!)

Too bad the Democratic nominee's do not resemble Boris and Natasha so you could have them lurking in the background.

My peasant mind can not think of a good cartoon analogy for Sens Obama and Biden. I must difer to your genius, 14, and wait expectantly to be further delighted by your work.

Brilliant! I love it! Man, what else can be said?

Hey Rocky, watch me pull an election out of my ass hat!

WELL DONE!!!! AGAIN

Hee f'n HAW!!!! This is beautiful. Even funnier than last weekend's opening sketch on SNL. You are a genius.

Sounds of kowtowting from this part of the globe as your genius is acknowledged. This is perfect.

Been waiting for this one. Needs to go on the cover of The New Yorker. Fair is fair. Please submit it.

I love how Palin is ready to go to war with Russia- will troops be deployed from her home state? How appropo. All of this scares the shit out of me, when I think about what is taking place on Wall Street, I can not imagine what living hell is going to transpire if these two crazy bitches get into the house. God help us.

Perfect! I came up with this idea myself today and did a search to see if anyone else had thought of this and - damn it! - YOU did. I posted the picture on my blog page and headlined it as "The Defining Image of this Campaign." Truly. Thanks.

I want a T-Shirt of this image! I want to meet you, please? (My girl friend and I). I live 90 minutes from SF.

Will you please make some campaign buttons? Face of lipstick moose in circle with diagonal bar would be good. I would wear it proudly!

14 - thanks, as always, for the laugh. You've summed it up perfectly! It is quite scary that SHE seems to be the candidate now. And I've known people like her - it scares the shit out of me that she might end up in the White House.

Interesting--the LA Weekly had a similar cartoon last week:

John McCain and Sarah Palin star in The Adventures of Cranky and Bullslinger

I had not seen the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon in the LA Times, but I like it! Nope, my pal Holly gave me the idea and I just ran with it. I'm sure there must be dozens other Bullwinkle/Palin/Rocky/McCain cartoons out there because as I said, the characters just sort of draw themselves.

So it ain't the first Rocky/Bullwinkle McCain/Palin cartoon out there. It's the best, all Partisan bias (nyuk, nyuk!)aside. Jay Ward's surely plucking an off-key harp in your honor somewhere in the Fractured Fairy Tale Beyond...

Magnificent! all this media attention these clowns have been given and you have illustrated it beautifully! i would love to get a pin of your painting!

I'm grateful for everyone that is parodying these two maroons!

This is brilliant! So perfect - your genius emerges once again. You never disappoint. xo

Brilliant, as usual

I think McCain/Palin offer a bright future for the Jon Stewert and Cobert shows

Ah, yes! My first time here. Superb illustrative talent combined with keen wit! I wish lipstick could wipe...(well, I keep politics out of my blogging- mostly...)

Will definitely return. I just retired my old site and began a new one with the main focus on art. Art activities in real life beckon, but I sure feel at home on your blog!

Artistically,
Lynne {**}

I can't stop laughing at McCain as Rocky. That looks so SO funny!

Alaska Women Reject Sarah Palin rally was held his past Saturday.
There was an amazing turnout of like-minded women (and men and children)!
Pics here: http://laurainak.blogspot.com

That's a freaking awesome/accurate picture and description of this whole goddamn thing.

It's stomach-turning, really.

But that's the way we live here in the USofA, now isn't it?

A big ol' spectacle for the rest of the world to laugh at.

(I'm leeeeaving haha)

-Jake

My hopes are up. My daughter in WVA says the southern Christian ladies in her church would rather vote for a snake. And now the perfect cartoon to enlarge and place on my car!

Great cartoon!!! So clever with the foreign experience and all!!! BTW - That mouse and a Berlin speech will give her as much foreign policy experience as that embarrassment of a presidential candidate named B. Hussein Obama. Cheers.

Hey Jake, I did leave the USA, but up here in Canada you still can't get away from US politics. You're going to have to move somewhere without media to avoid this mess.

Note to 14: if you are making moose buttons, I want one too!

PS. so, should we be Palin and McCain for Halloween? Which one do you call?

Wow great characterization!(as usual) Amsterdam greets fellow absurds across the sea - it takes one to know one, naturally. Congrats, 14, on your site's success and many thanks for providing your superb irreverentia. (Credo quia absurdum, from a recovering texan in holland)

As an American living in Fiji I despair for that these 2 are running for office. As much as like the painting I wish you would do one that shows the danger they represent; esp Palin, perhaps wearing a pointy white hat. Until such time, is this one available for purchase?
You are such a talented lady and I appreciate your imagination and wit. May you flourish for years.

Actually, that's Cocky and Hoodwinkle to you. I beat you to it, but your execution is much more artistic.
