Portrait of Figures in a Sunset

One evening I looked out my window and caught a glimpse of the most amazing sunset I've ever seen. It wasn't so much the swirling vivid colors of the sky that caught my eye, it was more the fact the towers seemed alive and pulsating. Perhaps I had other thoughts on my mind. Medium: Oil pastel on paper.
Hello 14, beautiful!! I am happy to read again a posting here. I miss watching every day gallery of the absurd :( !

You never cease to amaze with your fabulous art. I especially like this one, but then, I'm partial to undulating towers and evening sky pictures.

Very Van Gogh-ish. Cool.

I agree with the poster above -- very van Gogh-ish. But it scares me. But it's cool.

How beautiful... and reminiscent of Starry Night. Very nice job.

Its got a cool, dreamy quality with a little Stephen King macabre underpinnings. Really nice.
And it's nice to see some action over here at GotA.

You should sell your originals through this site now! I'd buy this one.

This also reminds me of the Hundertwasser houses in Vienna.

14, so happy to see something new here at the Gallery again! I've been trying to keep up with the Circus Hour, but to be completely honest, I prefer seeing just your stuff, so this is really nice. Your non-celebrity artwork is excellent! I love this piece, sort of a cross between Edvard Munch and Vincent Van Gogh. Looking forward to seeing more of your art here again.

Quite interesting. After reading the description "alive and pulsating," all of a sudden these towers appear to me as a pair of penises.

gnome:
only one of them is a penis - the other one is me. what fun!

Edvard Munch,Van Gogh, with a touch of Nikolai Roerich in there somewhere.
Feeling a bit Fin de siècle are we?
I know I am.

I like this one very much, so what's that say about me? ha ha I would be interested in buying one also. It reminds me of Halloween and I LOVE Hallows Eve! Salvador Dolly, is my first thought.

I love your artwork, especially this one, it's haunting and sort of calming in a way. I can't even draw...lol

As a teenager I once thought I saw the moon moving. However, it was the air rippling over a barbecue fire. I imagine you had a similar experience: no meta, just physics! Nice colours in your picture, by the way.
