Karma Chameleons
I know I promised not to post any more Botany in Wonderland illustrations, but I needed something up here to balance out the lurid image shown below. Besides, chameleons are MUCH more interesting than Jessica Simpson. I wish there was a tabloid magazine devoted to exposing the scandals of the Reptilia class. Medium: acrylic on paper, digital collage.

Pretty!!! I love your BiW pieces...I'd buy a book of those, for sure.
This one would be a really cool textile design.

I think the chameleons are wonderful!

I like how their crowns look as though they were made of lily petals. The background is gorgeous too. I love this series! A nice big fat coffee-table book is definitely in order.

Don't be sorry, 14! I absolutely love your botanical illustrations! And what a breath of fresh air, indeed, after those horrific blow-up doll images of Jessica Simpson.
Thanks for keeping things in balance,
Ophelia :)

I happen to like Botany in Wonderland. I also happen to like lizards. I'm happy!

I love the snarky celeb-inspired work... but I adore your Botany in Wonderland series.

Wow, that's beautiful. It's hard to balance out miss Blow-Up, but this is amazing and more than does the job. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Juliet. This would make a wonderful print run. You are so talented.

I liked the grasshopper with the boots but out of your botany series this is by far my favourite. Excellent. It helped me remain sane after seeing the Jessica Simpson blow up doll.

Don't apologize, they're great! And it shows that you have true talent, dahling! I really enjoy your work with the celebs you parody, the botanical items are icing!

I love both the detail and the washed-out color scheme. They chameleons are so realistic looking, I feel that if stare long enough...surely I will catch one of them blinking. I agree that a series of prints would be great. I would love to hang some of the BiW in my apartment!
On a more vulgar note...might I request a Blohan pictural with a deflated boob, coke coming out of her nostrils, and smashed Benz in the background? Or, is that too evil....

14 this is lovely! Will these regal chameleons be available as one of your art prints? I would love one!

I love this. This is such a soothing image for my brain after the bizarre dreams I have had while sleeping off a red wine hangover!
The reptile world is far more interesting than the train wreck that is Hollywood.

Count me in as one who would be first in line if you were to produce a coffee table book of your BiW works. They're all very beautiful, 14!
