This Is The Last One, I Promise

Dragon9lossoms_2

Thanks everyone for putting up with my break from painting gossip. This is the last image from my Botany in Wonderland series that I'll be showing here, so please enjoy it while I get back to work painting Paris Hilton's hypertrophic toes. Medium: ink, watercolor on scanned 140 year-old paper, and a wee bit of Photoshop.

Oh, 14! Don't apologize! Your botanical (sp???) wonderland art is fantastic!

Don't stop! I love them! I do miss the gossip paintings, but I love these ones too ;)
"Keep up the good work" ;)

Your Botany in Wonderland Series is wonderful, so hope you keep posting them and also offer more for sale. All of your art is great

Brilliant - so glad you posted these! It would be great if you made the whole series available on Imagekind; I just received my Tibetian Bat Flower print, and it's lovely.

This artwork is FABULOUS! No worries, gossip can squeeze in anytime. :)

Great work as usual 14! How did it come to your attention that dreadful chick had ripped off your personal interests list on her lousy MySpace? I read it ... wanted to blast her but didn't.

These are fantastic! I especially love this last one... I want to order this print and hope you've made it available on Imagekind. Please don't stop! Maybe you could give up sleep instead?

We grow dragon's eyes(longans) and dragon fruit (beautiful, scaled and fuchsia) here on the farm, but I would love to grow Fiery Dragon Blossoms...I suppose fire tongs and special sprinkler systems would have to be implemented. I should take this print to the local nursery and with a straight face ask if they can assist me in locating some.

The woman who ripped off your interests looks too dull and uninteresting to come up with ideas of her own. Pity the pathetic loser.

This piece is gorgeous! And since I love dragons, I'd have to say that it's my favorite one so far.

It would be cool (if you had the time) to do a secondary blog for your "other than gossip" artwork.

Both sites would be a big hit, I'm sure.

This is the one I love the best!! Your work is fantastic!

Awesome and really cute! Last one? Awww... If you have more post more!

I especially love the baby ones on the bottom.

Please don't stop! I love your botanicals with a twist!! The Celeb stuff is good to but I enjoy these much more because they are so detailed and beautiful! Love your stuff!!!!!!

Ooo, she must've gotten in trouble with someone, her profile is now set to Private! Hahaha well I saw it before she changed it, yes, she did rip it off. It is a fabulous interest list, though- I'm inspired to create one like it- but not copy it! I love your botanical drawings, they are filled with the sort of whimsy that passes through my head on a summer day but never do anything with, and wonder later- I had a wonderful idea, where did it go? Ah yes. Well, back to mockery.

However, I do have a desperate need for a Fire Dragon Blossom- love the baby ones!

-(Your token blatant Jewish commenter of many names)-

Man, I did not get to see the MySpace page before it was set to private! The nerve of some people to steal other people's work and words. Anyhow, 14, I wanted to tell you that your non-gossip artwork is just as entertaining and beautiful as the gossip stuff, and I would love to see more of it! Keep up the great art work!

All my best,
Ophelia :)

I REALLY love this one

I love this one - the blossoms and the dragons are absolutely gorgeous.

Nonsense! Anybody that likes you only for your gossip is small minded. Your ability to do more than that is what makes you so great. Variety makes you well rounded.
(Taco Bell makes ME well rounded)

Ooh! This is my favorite one, so far. =)

Beautifully done! The Botanical series has been wonderful. Looking forward to more of anything you choose to share with us.

I can't believe someone would be as big of a wanker as to copy your personal interest list! I mean... it is pretty fun to read, but you'd have to be terribly unimaginative and unoriginal to just outright steal someone else's work. And then to simply change your setting to "private" and hide this fact, rather than own up to it, apologize, and remove it like a mature adult? Wow. That's pretty lame.

I see a large-format coffee table book with several dozen of your 'Botany in Wonderland' illustrations. I would be more than glad to pester people to get it for me for Christmas - or failing that, actually buy it myself. I can't believe that there are not many more people out there who feel the same.

By the time I got there, the space was set to private. Although I have my suspicions that this person is in fact fictitious, created by you. Mainly because it's the kind of stupid thing I would do when bored.
That's the only evidence I have.

It reminds me of my old habit of joining forums with the express purpose of making people angry at me, or getting kicked off.

I joined a forum for young Republicans once.My first post there was a series of insults aimed at George Bush.
No introductions,nothing, just insults.
There were 35 in all, the post began with "George Bush is a Dot eyed,Dormouse faced, synctatic cripple" and sort of degenerated from their.God,I wish I'd saved it. One guy from Florida became particularly incensed, my reply was to take two hours writing a fake diary entry for a day in his life, which even had his fellow Republicans l.o.l-ing. Banned in 4 hours.

After that I joined a forum for first time parents. My first post was "Children what's the point? They'll only turn on you in later life.".The response was actually quite mixed on that one - disturbingly.
I actually like kids, but a large minority of first time parents are less than keen. Banned in 45 minutes.

Anyway, enough of my trips down sarcasm lane. If someone did steal your list of interests why did'nt you just charge the personality free dullard for the privilege? There are services in London that provide people with music for their ipods based on a specified set of criteria, so why not do the same with interests and opinions?

Infact here's an offer for you: I have plenty of obscure books, pieces of music, films and art that I'm into, you can become the first affiliate reseller of all my interests for a commision of 15%. You will be first in, on what will become a growing service. When I get it together to do my own blog or website, I can then sell on your interests for a commission from you.

As time goes on, people will at least appear more interesting. Some of them may actually take an interest in the interests they bought.

I'm sorry I completely forgot the picture here. It brings something to mind, although I'm not quite sure what. I won't say anything about it, until I have something interesting to say.

these are so pretty!

i don't think you should apologize - i think you should post more of them. they're beautiful!

Hmmm, I wonder why this person would do such a thing, though my first impression was that she has no imagination, it's more than likely the case.

I love your botanical work! Surprise us with more!
